Halloween cake

A cake I made few days ago for a Halloween party.

Inside there was a very common sponge-cake, which I cut roughly in the shape of a pumpkin, and covered with marzipan, orange colored with food-hue.
With some green marzipan I made the "petiole" and the other bits on top of the thing.
The shades were made with cocoa powder mized with water, and used as if it was watercolor, with a brush (one used only for cooking! )

So, not a great masterpiece but it was my contribution to the Halloween atmosphere, and it was fun to make it.

p.s. Admire the wonderful style of our kitchen tablecloth! lol!
