2004 - alkyd - 20x27,5"
This was thought as a r.p.g. character's portrait, let's say it took my hand a bit. Dimitri is this (bad bad bad guy) vampire that my boyfriend used to play. The scene is just a part of the portrait, 'cause I had to show how bad and blasfemous the character is. This is my first "serious" experiment with alkyd colours, and I have to say they're great: they look like oils, but they dry in half a day! Only flaw: they badly stink of turpentine&c. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board.
