Demon's victory by Lluhnij Demon's victory by Lluhnij
2005 - oils - 12x16"

This is one of my favourite last pieces, it took a lot of time to end it: because oils dry so slowly... I took it to Rome, where I go to about once a month, and painted it there, so I don't know how many hours, but I know it took about 6 months.

Both prints and original are for sale. You can find more informations about buying stuff by emailing me.

This is gorgeous. It reminds me of old world painting style. Also, it reminds me of the old hero stories that have towards the end, the hero has to fall as far as he can before gaining the strength to win. This is an amazing piece! :D

amazing...... you can actually feel the tensity from the angel..... as if he's trying to figure out if he can get away and the indesision from the demon....... he almost seems bored, given how he's holding the pole arm....... and the symbology of the light and dark in the sky..... the clouds look as if they are threatening to take over the light and block it out for good. it's one of those that you can take something new out of it each time you look at it.
